The numbers
What 245/35R19 means
245/35R19 means a 245 mm section width, a sidewall 35% as tall as it is wide (about 86 mm), on a 19-inch wheel. The overall diameter works out to about 25.8 inches, which is what a replacement size has to match closely.
245/35R19 is the typical original-equipment size on the Chevrolet Corvette. Trims and option packages differ, so check the sticker inside your driver's door or the sidewall of the tire on the car before ordering.
The two letters after the size on a tire (for example 102T) are its load index and speed rating. A replacement should meet or exceed the ones on your door sticker; our load and speed check reads them for you, and how to read a tire size explains the rest of the sidewall.
